Imagine starting this year with clarity about your money matters and 100% confidence that you’re being smart about it, with a plan to save, get out of debt, and build lasting wealth for you and your family. Imagine being done with the days of living paycheck to paycheck, which has been so embarrassing because there’s plenty of money there…but until now you haven’t had control of your spending… but this year, your money is working for you and the empowerment that you feel is just OH so sweet.
I’m Laura and I work millennial professional women and business owners, like yourself, to gain clarity and confidence around your money matters so that you can focus on what matters to you most, like continuing to crush your career and grow your business. Together we create a roadmap and I guide you to a place of not just building wealth, but I'll teach you to be really smart about your money, with a plan to help save, spend and create lasting financial independence.
And being the mom of a millennial, I’ve developed a passion for working with your generation because I see your value as future leaders and I know that women with money have more choices and I care that your voice is heard. Bringing my 20 years of experience as a wealth manager to the task of helping women like my professional daughter get control of her money & the confidence that comes with that is so important because I want to see you ladies truly rock the future!
And when working with millennial women, most often the first obstacle to getting control of your money, is spending and budgeting. So today, I'm going to give you a little guidance that might take a little pain out of the budgeting process. Because, I get it. You’re busy crushing your career and family life and the last thing you have time for is creating a budget.
This may seem cliche, but a major key to taking the pain out of budgeting is to get an app. And while there are plenty of budgeting apps, make sure to get one that will sync with your bank. The benefit is that you don't have to spend hours pouring over statements and making spreadsheets. You'll be able to track and analyze your spending which will help you find opportunity to cut expenses, create a roadmap for spending and make investments. Get control of that spending and you'll be one step closer to building financial freedom!
Here are some of the apps that I find helpful: Mint, Quicken, Goodbudget.
